A few hours after Vice-President Kamala Harris announced her running mate, Minnesota governor Tim Walz, her campaign dropped some new merch to commemorate. And can we just say, it’s a win for all the Midwest Princesses out there. In what has to be a direct nod to Chappell Roan, the queer pop star currently taking over the charts, the piece of merch garnering the most attention is a camouflage baseball hat with “HARRIS WALZ” written across the brim in bright orange, which is very similar to one of Roan’s best-selling pieces of merch.

While Gen-Zers quickly showed their appreciation, the Republicans in the comment section of Twitter didn’t quite get the joke (which is meme merch at its finest, if you ask me). The comments of “liberals don’t wear camo” and “trying to relate to the normal white men you were losing as voters with a camo hat …” veered into the same lane of Fox News trying to understand what brat means, which makes it even more entertaining for those of us who understand it all.

Other standout merch from the Kamala Harris–Tim Walz campaign includes a mug dedicated to a young Doug Emhoff, the vice-president’s husband and resident wife guy on the campaign; a simple and chic white button that says “HARRIS WALZ”; and an “American-made, union-printed” Madam President tee. While I’ve never bought a politician’s merchandise before, my hand has been hovering on the “buy now” button all morning. I have been needing a new baseball hat. And it’s cute.
